Laser Hair Removal in North Bay & Sturgeon Falls

Medical-Grade Technology. Safe, Effective, Long-Lasting Results.

At Luxurious Laser and Cosmetics, we pride ourselves on offering only the most advanced, best-in-class technology for safe and effective hair removal. That’s why our clinic features two of the world’s leading medical-grade laser systems: the LightSheer Diode XC and the Primelase HR.

Both platforms are Class IV medical devices designed exclusively for permanent hair reduction. Unlike Class II devices such as IPL, BBL, or Pulsed Dye—which rely on broad-spectrum light and radiofrequency and are not specialized for hair removal—our Class IV diode lasers deliver precise, targeted energy for superior clinical results.

The LightSheer Diode XC is recognized globally as the “Gold Standard” for laser hair removal, backed by decades of published clinical success. Its advanced Sapphire ChillTip™ provides continuous epidermal cooling, enhancing both safety and comfort throughout treatment.

The Primelase HR is one of the most powerful diode systems available, offering ultra-fast treatment speeds, higher peak power, and exceptional efficacy even on stubborn, coarse, or hormonal hair. It is also safe for all skin types (I–VI) and can treat tanned skin, making it a versatile solution year-round.

Together, these technologies allow us to customize every treatment for maximum comfort, safety, and long-lasting results—without compromise.

How Does it work?

During your treatment, the laser emittes light which is then absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles.  The laser will pulse for a fraction of a second, which will be long enough to heat the hair.  This will impede the follicle's ability to regrow.  This is why laser cannot work on white or blonde hairs as there is no pigment in the hair.

How long does a session last?

It all depends on the area, can be a few min for small areas, whereas a full body treatment can be anywhere from 1.5-2 hours.

How often can I do treatments?

You can do treatments every 4 to 6 weeks.

Is it painful?

Most people do not find it painful, however everyone is different.  Waxing is more painfull then laser hair removal.

What ages of people are suitable for laser hair removal?

As long as the individual has passed puberty they may have treatments.

What preparation is needed for my appointment?

You will need to shave the area the night before or morning of your appointment. A clean shave is required.
